Tania Zavaleta (she/her) is a Registered Associate Clinical Social Worker with a commitment to supporting children, adolescents, and immigrant communities through culturally humble practices. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UC Merced and a Master of Social Work from San Jose State University.
With several years of experience working with children and teens ages 5–17 across a variety of settings, Tania brings a flexible approach to her work as she draws from a range of techniques to meet each client’s unique needs. She focuses on building trust and creating a space where young people feel safe to express themselves and grow.
As an immigrant herself, Tania understands the cultural identity challenges and the stigma that can surround mental health, particularly in immigrant communities. Her bilingual skills have allowed her to provide accessible support, advocacy, and resource connection to Spanish-speaking individuals and families.
Tania is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and empowering environment where clients feel seen and supported. Her goal is to help clients build resilience, develop new coping skills, and grow into their most authentic selves.
