At One Life, our goal is to make beginning therapy simple, transparent, and stress-free. Whether you’re using insurance or paying out of pocket, we’ll guide you through the steps so you know exactly what to expect and can focus on finding the right therapist for you.

Our Referral Coordinator is always on hand to answer your insurance questions regarding individual therapists, next steps with your insurance provider, etc. (650)-394-5155

  • Call Kaiser’s Mental Health Department  at 650-299-4777.

    • Complete the screening process.

    • After the assessment, request One Life Counseling Center as your provider.

    • Call One Life at (650) 394-5155. Once authorized, One Life will receive the authorization and we can begin matching you with a therapist.

  • Call ACCESS at 800-686-0101 to request counseling services.

    • ACCESS will connect you with a clinician who will complete an assessment.

    • After the assessment, request One Life Counseling Center as your provider.

    • Call One Life at (650) 394-5155. Once the screening is received, we will match you with a therapist.

    Si tiene Medi-cal y desea acelerar el proceso, llame al 1-800-686-0101 y solicite una referencia a One Life.

  • If you are paying out of pocket, we can provide you with a superbill for insurance reimbursement.

    • Sliding scale options are also available if financial assistance is needed.
