I believe that when people learn to identify their feelings, they can begin their healing journey.

My name is Karina Mendoza Escobar. I am a bilingual mental health clinician. I am a first generation Latinx therapist with a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology as an AMFT and ALPCC from the University of Notre Dame De Namur.

The approaches that I use are client centered, humanistic, CBT and psychodynamic. I am an integrative therapist and believe that it’s important to meet the client where they are.

I have experience working with people of all ages, including children, teens, adults, and elderly. My clients have needed support with trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and grief. I have a passion for working with Latinx clients and immigrant communities.

I enjoy trying all diverse cuisine with my partner, playing soccer, lifting weights, watching anime, and traveling.

Mi nombre es Karina Mendoza Escobar. Soy un terapeuta Latina de primera generación con una Maestría en Ciencias en Psicología Clínica como AMFT y ALPCC de la Universidad de Notre Dame De Namur.
Los enfoques que utilizo son centrados en el cliente, humanísticos, TCC y psicodinámicos. Soy terapeuta integrativa y creo que es importante proveer atención individualizada a las necesidades de la persona.

Tengo experiencia trabajando con personas de todas las edades, incluidos niños, adolescentes, adultos y ancianos. Mis clientes han necesitado apoyo con trauma, depresión, ansiedad, trastorno de estrés postraumático y duelo. Me apasiona trabajar con clientes latinos y comunidades de inmigrantes.
