Angelina Rubino (she/her) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor who works with adults and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, and identity-related concerns.
Her work often supports individuals healing from emotionally invalidating or narcissistic family systems, as well as those untangling abandonment wounds, self-doubt, and long-standing patterns of self-criticism. She works with individuals who learned early on to prioritize others’ needs, overachieve to feel worthy, or silence parts of themselves to maintain connection. Therapy becomes a space to explore identity beyond survival roles and perfectionistic standards, and to build a more authentic, self-compassionate relationship with oneself.
Her approach is trauma-informed and integrative, grounded in psychodynamic therapy, DBT skills, mindfulness-based practices, and expressive arts interventions. She places strong emphasis on reparenting, inner child healing, and parts-based exploration.
Angelina values emotional safety and depth, balancing structure with softness while honoring each person’s pace. She is LGBTQIA+ affirming and practices with cultural humility and deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit. She especially enjoys working with young adults, creatives, and individuals reclaiming their voice after feeling silenced in relationships or dysfunctional systems.
Originally from the East Coast, Angelina pursued her M.S. in Clinical Psychology in California. She brings not only clinical training but lived experience and warmth into the therapy space. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her beloved pitbull, getting lost in a good book, collecting tattoos, and journaling through life’s big questions.
