Angelina Rubino (she/her) is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. She specializes in creating a safe and validating therapeutic space for those who have felt misunderstood, unseen, or like they never truly fit in.
She works with individuals navigating abandonment wounds, personality dynamics (including borderline and narcissistic traits), and the lasting effects of childhood emotional neglect. A core focus of her work includes reparenting and inner child healing.
She also supports individuals experiencing anxiety, body dysmorphia, and dual diagnosis (co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders), ongoing relationship difficulties and is committed to deepening her knowledge as new understandings of mental health continue to evolve.
Her clinical approach integrates psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based practices, DBT skills and expressive arts therapy. She tailors her work to meet each client with both structure and softness, honoring the unique pace of each person’s healing journey.
Angelina is LGBTQIA+ affirming and practices with cultural humility, compassion, and a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit. She especially enjoys working with young adults, creatives, and anyone seeking to reclaim their voice after being silenced by trauma or dysfunctional systems.
Angelina is from the East Coast, but pursued an M.S. in Clinical Psychology in California. She brings not only clinical training but lived experiences to the therapy space. Outside the therapy room, she enjoys spending time with her beloved pitbull, indulging her love of psychological thrillers and horror films, collecting tattoos, and sipping matcha while journaling her way through life’s big questions.
