Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
LMFT #162716 exp. 4/30/28
Hi! My name is Anna, and I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I have over 10 years of experience working in school settings, including five years providing school-based therapy to children and adolescents in San Francisco, Daly City, and San Carlos. My work has included supporting students with IEPs and providing ERMHS services, often collaborating closely with families, teachers, and school teams to support students’ emotional and behavioral needs.
Alongside my clinical work, I’ve also worked as a volleyball coach, where mentoring children and adolescents helped shape my relational style and reinforced the importance of consistency, encouragement, and strong relationships in supporting growth both in and outside of school settings.
Although my primary focus is working with children, I also enjoy supporting adults navigating life transitions and family-related challenges. My work is informed not only by clinical experience, but also by lived experience as a mother of two young children, my family’s personal immigration story, and experience with adoption. These perspectives allow me to approach therapy with added sensitivity around identity, belonging, parenting stress, and the complexities of family life.
My approach is trauma-informed and relationship-based, with a strong emphasis on early childhood and caregiver involvement. I am currently training in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), an evidence-based model for children ages 0–5 and their caregivers that addresses trauma and attachment within the parent-child relationship. CPP was developed through UCSF, and it closely aligns with my clinical lens when working with young children and families.
