Wendy Lair is an LMFT working for the past 6 years in private practice. She previously worked at Star Vista as a clinician and program manager. She was a trainee at the YWCA of Silicon Valley. Wendy is a 2011 alumnus of Santa Clara University with an MA in Counseling Psychology.
Wendy has extensive experience supporting children, teens and their caregivers around issues of anxiety, depression, trauma, and parenting, For this client population, she has completed post graduate trainings in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, NMT, Circle of Security Parenting, Touchpoints, non-directive play therapy and many others. Since 2021, Wendy has shifted to working more with adults with a history of trauma in childhood. For this client population, she has undertaken additional training in the many treatments for complex PTSD, including Internal Family Systems and the therapeutic use of ketamine. This fall, Wendy will complete her certification in Traumatic Stress Studies from the Trauma Research Foundation, and in EMDR.
Wendy is very much looking forward to working as a Clinical Supervisor at OneLife. In her personal life, Wendy spends her time with her husband, 14 year old daughter, 2 dogs, and 6 chickens. She loves anything to do with the outdoors, cooking, reading, and traveling.
