Licensed Clinical Social Worker
LCSW #137182 exp 02/29/2028
I believe in the power of human connection and sharing life experiences to support growth, healing and transformation. Whatever the life circumstances that brought you to seek assistance, I am here to support your journey to love and embrace your authentic self. I specialize in working with clients (adolescents and adults) with complex trauma and complicated family systems. Adults who are overwhelmed with caretaking, over functioning, in transition or struggling with low self-esteem and self-neglect are common themes that are addressed. Teenagers who self-harm, are questioning their identity, or sense judgement from peers and think no one understands them are real issues and do not have to be faced alone.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I am committed to providing a supportive and nurturing space where you feel safe, valued and understood. My style is honest, direct and compassionate. I show up whole heartedly to build a trusting relationship where you can explore and work through issues that are causing emotional overwhelm or are holding you back from being happy and fulfilled. I utilize a variety of evidence-based approaches that are informed by the client’s needs and unique life experiences.
My approach to helping clients is informed by my prior clinical work in school-based settings, community-based organizations and private practice. My clinical experience includes extensive work with trauma (PTSD and complex trauma), emotional abuse, substance use, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, and major life transitions (including end of life).
I find joy and refuel my tank in the simple pleasures of life: enjoying time with my friends, being outdoors, regular meditation and walking my dog. My greatest accomplishment in life are my daughters. I love witnessing them develop and grow, be adventurous and explore the world!
