Early Childhood Mental Health Peer Counselor
Leslie Cruz is a bilingual Early Childhood Mental Health Peer Counselor who has spent over a decade supporting families through meaningful developmental milestones and transitions. With a bachelor’s degree in psychology and years of hands-on experience working with infants, Leslie brings a warm and collaborative approach to early childhood development and family well-being.
Leslie is passionate about breaking the mental health stigma within the Latino community and increasing access to support for underserved families who often feel overlooked and/or disconnected from resources. She believes deeply in the importance of representation in mental health spaces and works to build culturally informed bridges between families, community resources, and the therapists at One Life Counseling Center.
Outside of work, Leslie is an early-bird gym rat who loves to stay active and especially loves to fuel up with good food and company. She proudly likes to believe she coined the term QOL- “quality of life” and applies it enthusiastically to everyone she meets. Whether it’s recommending a multi-purpose phone case or encouraging more daily walks, Leslie finds joy in helping others boost their QOL in big and small ways.
