Laura Rice is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist completing her clinical training at Pepperdine University, where she is pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Psychology. She provides counseling to elementary school students at Clifford Elementary School, supporting children who are navigating anxiety, behavioral challenges, social dynamics, or family transitions.
She especially enjoys helping students develop practical skills to manage their feelings and relationships, and she works with families to create stronger, healthier patterns of communication at home. Her style is thoughtful, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices, creating a space where children feel understood and parents feel supported.
Before becoming a therapist, Laura spent more than a decade in the Bay Area tech industry as an HR leader and consultant. She brings that experience in coaching, growth, and well-being into her clinical work, with a belief that children and families thrive when given both understanding and tools they can use every day.
