Katie Comfort brings warmth, presence, and a deep belief in the power of relationships to her work as a therapist. Her path into mental health began in the tech world, then moved into birth and parenting support as a doula and advocate for families in the Bay Area. These experiences led her to pursue her Master’s in Counseling Psychology at CIIS, where she deepened her understanding of how relationships shape our emotional lives.
Katie works with individuals, couples, families, teens, and pre-teens. Her clinical style is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in the belief that healing happens through connection. Since joining One Life in 2020, she has earned her License in Marriage and Family Therapy and now serves as Associate Clinical Manager, mentoring pre-licensed clinicians and supporting the growth of the One Life clinical team.
Outside the therapy room, Katie is an accomplished pool and open water swimmer as well as occasional high school swim coach. She brings that same dedication and balance of challenge and support to her work with clients.
