Hi! My name is David L. Reyes Pulido, and I am a Clinical Therapist Trainee currently pursuing my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur University. My journey into this field has been shaped by years of working alongside youth, young adults, and families navigating life transitions and challenging circumstances. These experiences have strengthened my belief that meaningful change often begins when someone feels genuinely heard, understood, and supported.
As a therapist trainee, I strive to create a space that is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and authentic. I am especially interested in working with adolescents, young adults, families, and individuals navigating anxiety, stress, relationships, identity, family dynamics, and major life transitions. My approach draws from humanistic, cognitive behavioral, psychodynamic, family systems, and strength-based perspectives, recognizing that therapy should be shaped around the individual and their unique experiences.
As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, I value the role that culture, family, community, and identity can play in our lives. Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors, working out, music, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.
My hope is to create a space where you can feel comfortable showing up as yourself, even when you are still figuring out exactly who that is..
