Anna Lee is a writer, researcher, and sociologist with over 15 years of experience exploring ways people find meaning, healing, and connection. She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur University, training to become a Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.
Her work incorporates an in-depth academic background, a PhD in Political and Social Sciences, with a compassionate, humanistic approach to counseling. Anna Lee has extensive experience supporting under-resourced communities through leadership roles at Casa Círculo Cultural, where she coordinates initiatives focused on women’s empowerment and creative expression. She also teaches art therapy in the San Mateo County jail, bringing tools of resilience and growth to diverse populations.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and three other languages, Anna Lee is passionate about creating culturally attuned, inclusive spaces where clients feel seen and supported. She integrates her training in sociology, feminism, and expressive arts to help individuals and families navigate challenges, build strengths, and discover new paths of wellbeing.
