Cindy Schwaab
Director of Marketing and Communications
Cindy began her career with two years of living and working in Kyoto, Japan, followed by more than a decade in high tech, where she managed a sales and marketing organization. During that time, she also earned her MBA in International Marketing from Loyola Marymount University and welcomed four children into their family.
Cindy became fully engaged in the local nonprofit community, fostering hundreds of puppies for Pound Puppy Rescue and holding leadership positions within the Young Men's Service League, Woodside Pony Club, countless schools, and several private businesses as a consultant.
She loves spending time with her husband of over 30 years, Bill, their four kids, animals (especially horses and their people), a good book, a strong latte, and long hikes. The growth opportunities within One Life over the last three years have been tremendous, and contributing to its mission of supporting mental health and well-being in the community has been deeply rewarding.
Her journey—from international business to nonprofit leadership—reflects her dedication to service, growth, and making a lasting impact. Whether she’s guiding young leaders, rescuing animals, or championing mental health initiatives, Cindy brings energy, compassion, and a wealth of experience to everything she does. She finds deep fulfillment in helping others thrive and is grateful for the opportunity to make a difference every day.
