Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee
I am a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee, currently completing my Master’s in Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur University and working toward dual licensure as both an LMFT and an LPCC.
Originally from India, I bring not only professional training but also the perspective of someone who has lived and learned across cultures. My Indian heritage deeply informs my practice, and I approach each client with cultural humility—honoring the unique traditions, beliefs, and identities that shape who they are. I speak multiple languages, including Hindi, Gujarati, and English, which allows me to connect with clients in the way that feels most natural and comfortable for them.
I have experience working with individuals across the lifespan—from children navigating school challenges, to teens exploring identity, to adults and older adults seeking support during major life transitions. My approach blends a solution-focused mindset with space for deeper healing. I believe in helping clients identify practical tools they can use right away, while also creating room for exploration, reflection, and growth at a pace that feels safe.
Whether I’m supporting someone through anxiety, relationship struggles, cultural adjustment, or the everyday stresses of life, my goal is to be a steady, compassionate presence. I strive to create an open, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel truly heard and empowered to move toward the changes they seek.
