LMFT #139464 Exp 5/31/2027

Roy’s passion for counseling emerged from his personal struggles with anxiety and OCD. After seeking therapy himself and experiencing significant improvement, Roy decided to dedicate his life to assisting others who have faced similar challenges. He pursued a degree in psychology, graduating from San Francisco State University (SFSU). Subsequently, he enrolled in Western Seminary, where he earned his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

Roy possesses extensive experience working with children, teenagers, and young adults, having served as a trainee and associate at various institutions, including the Evergreen School District, The Wisdom Training Center, the Seed of Awareness program, the Police Activities League Program, the San Carlos School District, and One Life Counseling Center. In 2023, after accumulating 3,000 hours of required therapy experience, Roy obtained his license and established his private practice.
Roy’s counseling expertise encompasses anxiety and OCD disorders, depression, Christian faith struggles, low self-esteem, and addiction. Additionally, he is proficient in fluent Spanish.

Roy’s background includes being born and raised in the Bay Area. He enjoys sports, movies, exercise, vacations, and spending time with family and friends. Furthermore, he actively contributes to his community through his role as a youth leader at his local church.
