Marriage & Family Therapist Trainee
I am delighted to be working as a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee in the San Carlos School District supporting students and teachers. I have experience working in a school based setting teaching mindfulness and yoga practices to students, and continue to bring mental health support to the community in both 1:1 and group settings. I incorporate skills and techniques from a variety of theories and modalities, including Mindfulness practices, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative therapy, Ayurvedic psychology, Insight Meditation, Yoga philosophy and Internal Family Systems.
I am currently obtaining my Master's in Clinical Psychology at Notre Dame de Namur, working towards both my LMFT and LPCC licenses. I am also a member of the Student Leadership Board at Notre Dame de Namur University. I hold certifications in various forms of Yoga, Ayurvedic Wellness, Reiki and completed the Martha Beck Wayfinder Life Coach Training. Additionally, I earned a B.S. from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo followed by a 20-year career in technology and business.
I enjoy time with family and friends, practicing yoga and Ayurveda, spending time in nature and traveling.
