Hello! I’m so glad you’re here, taking the first step towards living a more satisfying life. Perhaps your satisfaction has been dampened by feelings of “not enough,” “not worthy” or “there’s something wrong with me?” Perhaps you go into shame spirals? You know, those intense self-loathing narratives and intense emotions of fear, anger, doubt, despair, and anxiety that erode your ability to live potentially. If this sounds familiar, I’m here to help. I support people who want to live bigger and brighter, but have struggled with self-esteem, consent violations and sexual assault, sexual and gender identity formation, sexual enjoyment and body-image issues. By showing you how to bring vitality and compassion to these issues, and the shame spirals they cause, I can help you learn to love yourself, others, and the world around you for a more satisfying life.
So how could we do that together? If experiences created our shame-spirals then experiences heal them. By engaging you in new, reparative experiences of yourself, you can develop an embodied sense of worthiness and potency. Using a combination of Internal Family Systems, EMDR, and somatic psychology approaches, I work with individuals (adults and late-stage adolescents) and couples to resolve the impact of shame.
