Michelle Stulbarg
Chief Operating Officer
Michelle Stulbarg is a lifelong San Mateo County resident who has dedicated her career to serving the community through education and nonprofit leadership. She and her husband are proud parents of three grown children, and she enjoys bringing people together, building strong teams, and helping organizations grow in meaningful ways.
Michelle began her career as an elementary school teacher before transitioning into nonprofit leadership. She founded the National Charity League Edgewood Chapter and served as its founding board president. She also held leadership positions throughout the Belmont Redwood Shores School District, serving as president at the elementary, middle school, and district levels.
As Chief Operating Officer at One Life Counseling Center, Michelle has helped lead the organization’s growth from approximately 30 team members to more than 160 across multiple locations. She oversees operations, human resources, development, marketing and communications, and the systems and processes that keep the organization running smoothly. Her focus is on supporting people, strengthening operations, and helping ensure the organization continues to grow in a thoughtful and sustainable way.
Michelle holds certifications in Executive Human Resources Management, Stanford’s Executive Program for Nonprofit Leadership, and is a Certified Life Coach. She is also a graduate and alumna of San Mateo County Leadership CORPS (2025–2026), reflecting her commitment to serving and strengthening the local community.
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, walking her dog, traveling, and giving back to the community she has always called home.
