Haley is a compassionate and dedicated therapist who recently joined our team at One Life Counseling Center. A native of the Bay Area, Haley has always felt a strong desire to give back to her community. She graduated from the University of San Francisco with a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy, bringing both academic rigor and practical experience to her practice.
Haley has valuable experience from her work with San Francisco County's "Foster Care Mental Health" program, where she collaborated closely with Child Protective Services (CPS) and provided therapeutic support to clients on Medi-Cal who had endured significant trauma. This experience has equipped Haley with a deep understanding of the complexities of trauma and the resilience of the human spirit.
Haley is committed to creating a warm and nonjudgmental environment where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings at their own pace. With a strong focus on building trusting relationships, she utilizes evidence-based approaches tailored to each client's unique needs. Haley is particularly interested in exploring integrative treatments that honor clients' cultural and personal preferences, reflecting her belief in the importance of individualized care. Personally, she practices 5 Elements Acupuncture, which is rooted in Taoist beliefs, as part of her own wellness routine.
Outside of work, Haley enjoys spending time in nature, particularly through hiking, which she finds rejuvenating. She values her time with family, even though she understands the complexities of family dynamics.
Haley is excited to support her clients on their therapeutic journey and looks forward to helping them achieve their goals.
